Applications are invited for the regular part-time position of Simulation Lab Technician in the Health Sciences & Community, Justice and Fitness Division. The starting salary is $24.05 /hour for up to 24 hours per week. Additional hours may be required at peak times during the year, such as the start or end of term. The position is located at the Welland Campus.
Reporting to the Dean, Community Services, Justice & Fitness Studies, the successful candidate is responsible for the coordination, setup, maintenance, and support of simulation-based learning activities, including Virtual Reality (VR), across a variety of programs within the Health Sciences and Community, Justice, and Fitness Divisions. This role ensures a safe, organized, and effective simulation environment that supports student learning and bridges the gap between classroom instruction and clinical practice.
Technical expert who can set up, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and in some cases repair simulation equipment in various labs
